James P. Liautaud

Jim Liautaud (October 19, 1936 - October 23, 2015) was the creator of PDT (Process Designed Training). == Background ==

Liautaud was from Chicago. After school, he entered the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Thereafter, he attended the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1963. After that, he worked for Grolier selling encyclopedias, where he discovered and developed his approach to business: "What I learned, lasted forever....I learned to find and focus on a proven process, rather than the win...." 〔"James P. He married Grazina (Gina) Gudaityte. Their children are Greg, Jimmy John, Robert, and Lara.
